Silver Buying

We buy all silver items including sterling silver .925 , fine silver .999 pure or higher; coin silver, .800 fine, and various other purities. We do not buy silver plated items. Items will be priced based on a few factors: purity, resale ability, and spot silver price. Some items we commonly buy are silver flatware sets, silver serving pieces, candlesticks, coffee sets, platters and trays as well as trophies. We are always prepared to make you an offer you can expect to be paid on the spot!

Looking for Silver: When determining if items in your home have value, the best method is to examine the piece for stamps and markings from the manufacturer. Oftentimes, markings are used by manufacturers to indicate what type of metal they used. Look out for the word "Sterling" or numbers like "925" or "800"; they are indicative that the piece is made of sterling silver or .925 or a fineness of .800. Not all markings indicate solid silver; in fact many indicate an item is silver plated which is not something we buy. These markings that are tell-tale of silverplate include: "EPNS" "EP" "Quadruple Plate" "Triple Plate" "90". Some silver purity marks from other countries may be harder to determine so you can bring them in and we will make the determination for you.
